Context
Ten years of great films, and almost no upgrades
Buildofy is India's leading architectural video platform. People watched the films and left, and few paid. Across 50+ surveys and 20 interviews, 80% of free users wanted more value before paying and 60% of architects wanted to reach clients directly. I worked on the redesign with Dhwaj S., Tanuka A., Puneet V. and Pushkaraj M.
01Discovery
Browsing for the next home
Discovery that still feels like the films, with ranked listings, regional and material filters, and the subscription prompt inside the flow.
Why: People searched by style, material and place, and the old search couldn't handle it.

02Home page
Everything behind a single home
The video gives you the feel of a house. Materials, finishes, furnishings and eBooks give you the detail.
Why: 80% of free users wanted more before paying, so we added depth instead of a harder paywall.

03Buildopedia
Buildopedia
Definitions, projects, blogs and videos linked, so looking up a term leads straight to a real home.
Why: Homeowners couldn't find practical information past the visual inspiration.

04Architects
Homeowners meet architects
Search returns architects as well as videos, and architects get onboarding, enquiries and engagement tracking of their own.
Why: 60% of architects wanted direct access to clients and no competitor offered it. This is what turned a UX project into a monetisation one.
